We don’t sell, we solve

A lot of people don’t like to sell. Add to that that many people don’t like to be sold a “bill of goods.” Of course, the rub is that everybody loves to buy something that benefits them. So the solution is not selling something to people who don’t want to be sold anything. There’s a better way.

At St. Louis Community Credit Union, we don’t sell people anything that they don’t want or need. We provide solutions to people who have problems. We don’t sell…we solve. If our members have financial services elsewhere, we honestly believe that they have a problem. Their deposits don’t earn as much. Their loans cost more. And the fees they pay are much higher.

Given our genuine desire to solve problems, we kick into gear. The sincerity and care we show our members is second to none. We share the good news of how being a member of St. Louis Community Credit Union puts more money back in one’s pocket.

While the others keep on selling…we’ll stay busy solving people’s problems.

If everyone knew what we know about St. Louis Community Credit Union, consumers would rush to be members. When a credit union like St. Louis Community does what we do best, we are considered to be the single best provider of consumer financial services on the planet. Get your head around that! The very, very best.

Consumer advocates, the U.S. Public Interest Research Group, the National Consumer Federation of America, and all kinds of journalists agree…joining a credit union like St. Louis Community is the best for consumers.

Well, then we need to start talking. We need to get the word out. Let’s tell our neighbors, our friends, folks at church, and even those standing with us in the grocery store line. We’ve got great rates, low fees, products for every life stage, services, convenience, and if that’s not enough…we provide GREAT SERVICE FROM PEOPLE WHO TRULY CARE.

People like to be associated with a winner. Whether you’re a potential member, an existing member or an employee, you want to hang out with the best. That’s why people belong to – and work at – St. Louis Community Credit Union.

A lot of people believe in the cooperative spirit of credit unions and, as a result, are drawn to St. Louis Community Credit Union. It boils down to a person’s desire to help people. That spirit of service is what makes both our members and our staff special. Our passion for helping people increase their standard of living and better their lifestyle is what drives us every day. Good people need good financial services. That’s where St. Louis Community Credit Union steps in and delivers excellence. We have great people who love what they do.

I know lots of people who make a good living and hate what they do. Interestingly, none of them work for the Credit Union. If you’re passionate about people, you’re in the right place. At St. Louis Community Credit Union, our employees have the richness of knowing they made somebody’s life better. The difference between us and them is great members and great employees.

Our Job is bigger than our work

There is nothing more important than serving our members. That’s the only reason St. Louis Community Credit Union exists. It’s important that we never waiver in our commitment to helping our members increase their standard of living and better their lifestyle. That’s our job and our job is bigger than our work.

We all have stuff to do. Our day is filled with work. The phone keeps ringing, the files keep stacking up, and the e-mails keep filling the inbox. Yes, it all has to be done, but serving the member should always be our focus. Never should we find ourselves diverting our attention from our members to our stuff.

Members count on us to make their life better. Why? Because they are members – and that means more than being a customer. Members are owners. Never should our work get in the way of our job.
