people on mountaintopWe are a people drawn to a sense of community. It’s a natural process to seek out community that serves our personal needs. There are so many different communities to which we belong. Where we live, work, worship, play, gather, vote and choose to go to school are the communities we cohabit with like people who seek out the same community. We end up where we end up because of conscious thought (most of the time).  We want to be there chosen of our own free will.  (more…)

Differences Aren’t Wrong – They’re Just Different

Seventeen to 20 years loosely defines a generation. So on the horizon sits about 25 percent of the population, born between 1995 and 2012. They’re the generation after the oft referred to Millennials that, by most accounts, have rocked our world. What do we call them? Centennials? iGen? How will this cohort act? It’s Always about Prosperity

hands all inOngoing is the debate by and between our community and civic leaders as to whether or not St. Louis County and St. Louis City should come together in an effort to gain a more efficient means by which to serve their respective residents. An “all for one — one for all” region mentality versus the fragmentation that exists today could only improve services, reduce costs and give our region an opportunity to thrive. That’s the thought.
